PET GUIDED INSIGHT LEADERSHIP COACHING

VETERINARY PROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP COACHING

There was nothing that taught me more about leadership than owning my own veterinary practice. Building my clinic from the ground up was the perfect environment for personal growth and the only way I was able to survive, let alone succeed, was working with my own coach.

So what is COACHING anyway?

Coaching is a much more sought out mode of support these days although it’s still a difficult concept to explain.

I’ve worked with my own business coach ever since building my veterinary practice in 2008. What I love most about being coached myself is that the coaching session gives me space to talk out an issue, explore different facets with guidance, and ultimately find the solutions that would work best for me. It’s not about advice…it’s about being led to your own wisdom. Having a coach also helped me focus on next steps and provided accountability to help me get things implemented.

For me Patrick Williams described what coaches do best:

“Coaches recognize the brilliance of each client and their personal power to discover their own solutions when provided with support, accountability, and unconditional positive regard.”

PET GUIDED INSIGHT COACHING

Pet Guided Insight LEADERSHIP COACHING combines the focus of coaching: being a client centered, forward looking, action oriented and enjoyable process with my 25 years of veterinary experience and unique leadership style.

client centered: coaching focuses on you as the expert in their situation and believes you are whole and capable.

forward looking: the process may consider your past however the focus is on your future.

action oriented: coaching is practical and focuses on you taking action towards your next steps.

enjoyable: coaching is a fundamentally positive experience that leaves you feeling clearer and more capable.

veterinary experience: being a veterinarian and owner of my own clinic gets us on the same page quickly because there is just no one that knows what you are going through like a fellow veterinary professional.

unique leadership style: as a practice owner I created my own leadership style based on personal development, leadership and business books, retreats, trainings and A LOT of trial and error.

This unique style of coaching empowers you to bring the change you want to see in your practice.

QUESTIONS ABOUT COACHING

PRAISE FOR THE PROCESS

COLE & STITCH: “I hadn’t experienced coaching before, the closest things I’ve done are therapy and counseling. I was pleasantly surprised about how much change I felt, how there were subconscious things I had been missing that ultimately were limiting my enjoyment in life. I felt true value in coaching from this Pet Guided Insight experience and still feel the changes integrating into my life. It was a very holistic look at life and how all parts are connected and important. Seeing how it is all at play with each other, rest, work, play, love, health, etc was so fascinating. The system / wheel that dr.klas has created is so magical.

Sometimes it’s hard to reflect on myself, having it reflected back from Stitch really helped give a voice to myself. Talk to myself. Because I know what he would feel and say to me, but not always what I would say myself. We are one in the same, so it was a powerful way to reflect on myself. The wheel and the connection to animals in my life were big parts of why I enjoyed it so much.”
